It is a fundamental belief that every athlete can grow, improve and daily we fight to be the best version of ourselves. There are many factors that can affect wins and losses. While these can sit outside of our control, we do control our growth. Through our attitude, our effort and our enthusiasm. It is this belief that keeps us from getting outworked.

Football is more than just a game, its a microcosm for life. Much like in life, many people go through this world surrounded by people but still alone. Kids begin playing for different reasons: to be active, follow in their parents’ footsteps, a chance at a better life, to make friends, etc. When cultivated, something special happens that transcends sport, FAMILY.

BIOGRAPHY
Erick Webster has been positively effecting the lives of student athletes for 19 seasons. Seven of those seasons as the Head Coach of the Union Wildcats where he amassed a 39-33 record, two time Four Rivers Conference Championship and two time coach of the year. In his years in coaching he has coached every position on the field and served as an Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams Coordinator.

In 2005, Coach Webster was hired at Stockton High School as a history teacher, track and football coach. He served as wide receivers and defensive backs coach in the 2005 and 2006 seasons.

Coach Webster resides in Lake St Louis with his wife of 18 years, Amy, who works for Fort Zumwalt School District as a Psychological Examiner. Together they have one daughter, Alyssa Daisy Webster, who turned 10 in June.

The concept of togetherness forms the foundation of our football program. To develop the unselfish attitude that is needed in a successful program, a close, meaningful relationship must exist between coaches and players, players and players, and coaches and coaches.

Learning how to care and to accept caring within the total team structure is of primary concern. It is necessary to be a caring person. It is our belief that only truly caring people can function to their best ability in the atmosphere we create. We will care about our players as if they were our children. We will encourage all of them, correct all of them, coach all of them, and discipline all of them with that thought in mind. We will treat everybody with the utmost respect. The "Golden Rule" will apply to our dealings both inside and outside the football program.
