Philosophy of Training
SAFETY, PERFORMANCE, GROWTH
Athlete health, durability and safety are the primary reasons for our programming. Athletes must master our basic movement patterns before progressing onto more demanding ones. We train durability through carefully planned triple extension movements, for injury prevention and longevity.
Performance enhancement being one of the great benefits of training comes as an additional consideration. Athletes are challenged, measured and guided to greater potential performance. Training models are designed to train overall ability not just for their sport or position.
Growth is both physical and mental. We want our lifters to take the lessons of hard work, perseverance and pride into the world for application. Whereas training methods and fads evolve fast, new concepts are only added once the concept is fully understood.
At our core, we fuse the worlds of Olympic lifts, power lifting and functional movement. We use the BFS concepts of cross sport unified training philosophy, calculated maxes and tempo.
Activities emphasize improving health-related fitness through weight training, change of direction, speed programs and competitive athletic conditioning.
